The Foundation was established on December 22,
2003.
The IJssel Line Foundation originated through a cooperative effort between IJssel Line volunteers and the IJssel Landscape Foundation, the latter being the owner of the bunkers.
The Board of Directors includes the following:

The goal of the Foundation is to restore the IJssel Line as an accurate and tangible historic monument to the Cold War, and to administer and maintain the IJssel Line for educational and recreational purposes open to the public. The goal of this website is to inform the public about the activities of the IJssel Line Foundation.
